Food Truck Crew – Shift Prep & Dress Guidelines
Arrival Time:
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled shift so you have time to wash your hands and go over any menu updates or protocol changes.
What to Wear:
You'll likely be helping with both customer service and food prep, so it's important to dress in a way that’s both clean and functional:
-
Clothing should be clean and presentable, without pet hair, offensive language, or graphic images
-
Short sleeves are strongly preferred over long sleeves or tank tops
-
If you must wear long sleeves, please roll them up to your elbows
-
Shorts are okay, just make sure they’re long enough to help protect your legs from fryer spatter
-
Wear closed-toe shoes, with slip-resistant soles or sneakers recommended
Hair & Accessories:
-
Wear a cap or bandana, and tie back long hair in a bun or ponytail
-
Please avoid jewelry—earrings, bracelets, and necklaces can pose a choking hazard if they end up in food
-
Gloves & Aprons:
-
Vinyl gloves must be worn when working the window, and must be changed when switching to food finishing
-
Aprons and gloves will be provided
Stay Hydrated:
Please bring a personal water bottle to keep yourself hydrated during your shift.
